It’s official! Destiny’s Fate will be printed and distributed by IC Geeks Publishing! W00t!
Many thanks to Noel Burns of ICG, Artist Mau (122476), Letterer Taylor, Colorist Rodrigo, and Proofer Erin! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that our miniseries will be published by the company that houses the best in indie comics.
So you’ve seen the sneak peeks. You’ve read the tweets on what assassins love (green tea fraps) and who assassins fear (Who isn’t scared of Chuck Norris?), but what’s DF all about?
Fate cannot be changed, Kainoa Ryder’s adoptive parents had told him. There was a plan, a preordained chain of events no one could change. If someone tried, the consequences would be grave, for he/she would be rebelling against the laws of time itself. The Ryders would know. As Defenders of the Fourth Dimension, they protect all of time’s events.
Kainoa only remembers his adoptive parents’ words as lies. Stolen by his grandfather—the former head of the Defenders—and raised in Medieval Japan, Kainoa has harnessed the gift of Destiny, the ability to travel through time. Where others need the help of a device called an Anchron to change time periods, Kainoa only needs a single thought, and where the Defenders simply protect time, he can rule it.
But the thoughts in his mind are anything but his own. An assassin who obeys without thought, who kills without guilt, fifteen-year-old Kainoa has been given one mission—to infiltrate, to assimilate, and to annihilate the Defenders of the Fourth Dimension—his own family. This is his fate, one even he, the bearer of destiny, cannot escape.
Look for Destiny’s Fate, a seven-issue miniseries, this summer, and check out the DF Crew on Twitter for up-to-the-second updates!

Workin’ my ass off to get this chapter done~
The only thing that reaches the awesomeness of reading a new issue or chapter of a comic is watching its process, and seeing a pro like Drake Tsui work is amazing.
Check out Sin on Mangamagazine. Worth it.

P.S. Yes, I know it’s Wednesday. Some of us kickstart our week late…
I technically started my work week yesterday, but I ended up finding out my artist is Aquaman or Galactus; my letterer is Batman; I’m Wonder Woman (the clay version from DCoU); and my colorist isn’t on Twitter.
I know…I know…you wish you had conversations like that.
Support indie comics and become your own superhero!

SUPPORT THE BEST IN INDEPENDENT COMICS!
Happy Monday, Geeks!
IC Geeks Publishing announces a new Kickstarter project to bring retailers the Indies in Advance Comic Sampler, a collection of the best indies comics on the market.
The Indies in Advance Comic Sampler Kickstarter will fund a quasi-anthology book that will include shorts, samples, and full comics that ICG prints to distribute to retailers and readers. The main focus of the Indie in Advance Sampler is to help Indie creators and retailers work together. This sampler is going to be a key component, where ICG hopes to send the comic sampler to retailers, so they can see our company’s offerings. The book will come to the retailers at no charge, so it can aid them in making future purchases and showcase the talent that is working with ICG.
The Kickstarter Project will run through June 26, 2012, and ICG strives for a total of $25,000 in funding to put together the collection and help to promote the independent creators who have new and amazing stories to share.
Join the Year of the Creator and support the Kickstarter—or become a part of the book. Submit to the creator program. Check out icgeeks.com for more details, and click on the link above to sponsor the hard-working men and women of the comic industry!

Old favorite that I haven’t been able to find on Cofie’s tumblr. ;)
Whoa. Love the hair…Seriously. I’d love to see this take on the show in the later episodes. It really would show a change between the character’s innocence in the first scene and demonstrate the change in maturity.
Nice job!
Happy Sunday, Geeks!
A must-read resource for indie creators/publishers is ComixTribe. If you haven’t checked out their Web site, I urge you to do so now. ComixTribe has several columns to help an indie creator hone his/her craft or a newbie publisher stay afloat in the comic market.
One of these great columns is Bolts and Nuts by the Editor Steve Forbes. In this post, Steve tackles the dreaded pitch, and the piece not only gives insight on how to attack and practice writing your own comic pitch but also provides great examples to help you see the format for yourself.
If you ever plan to write and pitch any comic (Even if you’re posed to write Batman, you’ll have to pitch your arc to Mike Marts), then click the link and read what Steve has to say. You’ll be glad you did.
Thanks!

sorry Tim;w;What is this “failure” that you speak of, because I see none. Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.
